Objective Based Curriculum
The Objective Based Curriculum consists of 32 Personal Adjustment (PA) and 36 Pre-Vocational (PV) Objectives which may be accomplished in the special education or general education classroom setting. Of the 68 objectives, 51 MUST be accomplished over a minimum mandate period of four (4) years before a student can be recommended for graduation where the student will then receive a CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION.
In addition, students MUST adhere to the following guidelines:
1) Successfully complete regular education or special education PHYSICAL EDUCATION requirements,
which fulfill the minimum requirement for graduation from the local school district.
2) After having completed a vocational evaluation and being determined eligible for placement in training program,
the student must complete a vocational educational program. The programs that meet such requirements are:
a. Regular Vocational Education
b. Adapted Vocational Education
c. Special Education Vocational Education
d. Individual Vocational Education
